Interface Config commands

speed

Interface Config commands

Use this command to specify the speed of a fast-ethernet (10/100) or a gigabit-ethernet port

(10/100/1000).

Syntax

speed(10|100|1000|auto)

Parameters

Usage Guidelines

Set the interface speed to

auto to detect and use the fastest speed avaiable. The speed detection

is based on the connected network hardware.

RFS7000(config-if)#speed auto

RFS7000(config-if)#

Forces 1000 Mbps operation.The port runs at 1000 Mbps.

Enables AUTO speed configuration.The port automatically detects the speed it

should run based on the port at the other end of the link.
